PERSONAL PROFILE
My name is Sofia Harper, and I am a California-based equestrian athlete. I've been riding since I was five years old, and I've always been passionate about it. I spent my childhood at schooling farms riding the naughty ponies and skipping school to go ride and spend time with the horses. I'm 17 now, and not much has changed: I still get up early to ride, and I spend my days after school riding, grooming my horse, and cleaning tack. My horses have won three circuit championships, and I've spent my entire life competing at Sonoma Horse Park, mostly as a jumper rider. But finally My horse Oli and I have been training at an eventing stable and are currently competing at Training level while also trying to get back into the jumper ring. We are currently working our way up to Prelim level in eventing.

Aspen Farms Horse Trials
|| SEPTEMBER 22'||
Oli and I participated in the Training division of the Aspen Farms horse trials in September 2022, and it was a lot of fun and a great experience. I absolutely loved how he performed the first day in dressage, and in jumping he was a star, consistently getting double clean, and on the cross country course the last day, he really showed how it's done by galloping around those trees and winding trails. We finished 3rd overall for our first Training level event together.
